September is the month for mooncakes!

I have never acquired the taste for them before until I moved and worked in Singapore for over a year (about 2 years ago).....

It was such a big event....they celebrated it with Chinese laterns...and exotic - expensive Mooncakes with unusual fillings. These mooncakes were sold everywhere included major bakeries, restaurants, and hotels....I have to do more research about the festival of the Moon in September....not sure but I knew it was quite a huge deal for the Chinese in Singapore....

I remember that I took my niece and nephew to buy their laterns for the school....
